I got the serum sample free from an Arbonne party last week, organised by Amy from Everything Mummy, held at Absolutely Fabulous Hair & Beauty in Winton. The salon has a contemporary boudoir feeling, and is nicely spread out, so I didn’t feel cramped.
I learnt a lot about Arbonne and its chemical free, organic, vegan approach to skincare. Whilst this is not me, I would happily wrap myself in chemicals to get the desired look, I know a lot of people who would love to free their skin of the parrabins and oils of the high street products.
I was happy to try out the products, as I am always willing to have my mindset changed. The hair serum smelt fruity without being overpowering and did not make my hair greasy, it is definitely something I’m willing to spend money on. I also won this primer, worth £25, in a free raffle.
It’s great for putting on under makeup, or even later in the day on top of foundation to fill in the cracks. I love primer, and normally use Benefit POREfessional, I would definitely recommend either for a baby soft skin feeling.
Whilst at the party, I got my nails done by Claire from Beau Chic Beauty based in Poole Dolphin Centre. I chose the Butterfly Queen CND Shellac for a bit of glamour, every girl should have glitter in their lives! Normal nail polish lasts about a day on my nails, I don’t care for them as well as I should, Shellac normally lasts about a week, less if I’m in and out of the water. These nails are now 10 days old, with no sign of any chips! The only “problem” is that my nails are enjoying having this fantastic colour, they’re growing so quickly, the nail beds are feeling left out!
